P20
P20 tool steel is a material which offers great machine-ability even in its hardened and tempered condition. P20 responds very well to polishing giving a very impressive surface finish. P20 also retains a relative hardness homogeneity across large sections of the material.
P20 is more susceptible to wear than contemporary tool steels having around 25% of the carbon content that D2 has.
